Services
We can't say for sure but it's believed that the 18th century building that hosts the Rostrevor Inn may have started life as a police station and village gaol. We do know that in 1853, when Rostrevor was fast becoming one of Ireland's favourite tourist resorts, Michael Crawford opened a family grocery store here and, later, a hardware store (now Crawfords Bar) next door.
Our seven lovely ensuite rooms offer something for everyone, including singles, doubles and family (group) rooms. Our guests love the comfort and size of the beds and the hearty breakfasts cooked to order by our chefs. Kids will love our new Narnia-themed family room. In the heart of the village, a few steps from Fairy Glen and beautiful Kilbroney Park and at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, you couldn't ask for a better location!
We have become famous for our food offering from delicious steaks to our acclaimed range of homemade gourmet burgers, including halloumi and vegan burgers. We also have a special children's menu and all the family will love our tempting range of desserts. With Kilkeel a few minutes drive up the road our weekend specials regularly feature the catches of the day from one of Ireland's busiest fishing villages.
Sip a luxurious Irish whiskey or pint of locally brewed craft beer listening to stories and music by the fireside in our traditional bar; enjoy a superb pint of Guinness in our atmospheric Stables snugs or cocktails and fine wines in the elegant main bar - come on a journey of discovery with our fabulous range of drinks.
Rostrevor is famed for its musicians, including some of Ireland's finest folk and traditional artists. Most feature at Crawfords Bar at The Rostrevor Inn some time during the week. From 7.30pm on Fridays we have a popular session with the multi-talented Curragh Folk, followed at 10.30pm by the legendary Dermot McQuaid.

I'd no idea this pub place served food. There's a small bistro menu at the front door. It also has accommodation. I'd been at the Church bistro just down the street a few weeks ago; I was so disappointed I won't go back.
Anyway this place was packed with diners & barflies. We were a group of four ready to eat. There was a fantastic atmosphere within. I saw they sold local real ale which was so good. Now that's 5 star alone. We got menus as we sat and we got our first drinks at the bar on arrival. I had prawn pil pil starter with focaccia bread on the side. It was
