My parents purchased a £100 voucher for us less than 2 months ago for a dinner at the Talking Drum (610 Old Kent Road).
When we showed up last night after making a booking however, we discovered that the restaurant had closed down permanently.
I contacted Giftpro the following day by email and phone and discovered that they do not offer any exchange or refund in this situation.
Payments are processed by a 3rd party and the contract you enter by purchasing a voucher on Giftpro's platform is between yourself and the restaurant. In other words, there is nothing Giftpro can do to guarantee my parents

Best system available!. This is our 3rd voucher management system and surely there is no better one. Quick response on chat if needed. Perfectly designed and extreamly easy to use. We've been very impressed with GiftPro since we started using the system for our restaurant gift vouchers. I trialled a few systems before we discovered GiftPro and after a very successful first 3 months I'm convinced we made a very good choice of partner for our vouchers. Our customers have found the system very quick and easy to use, which has translated into an 84% increase in year on year sales and much greater % of online orders (which we love, because of the reduced admin). A month in we added a range of new vouchers, this was quick and easy to do in-house, with very little involvement needed

We were really impressed at the speed in which we were able to set up with GiftPro and have continued to be impressed by the volume of business the system has produced. Our sales more than doubled in the first three months, compared to the same period a year before and we are continuing to see this growth. We chose to get setup with GiftPro in December 2014, to take advantage of the Christmas rush. The setup process was very straightforward, and we were really impressed that our online store was up and running within 48 hours. Working with GiftPro has really simplified the sales and redemption processes involved with our gift vouchers. Our online store is easy to use for our customers purchasing their vouchers online and very user friendly from the administration side too. GiftPro is an excellent system. We installed in December 2014 and have not looked back since, it has increased voucher sales but has also now given our customers the chance to buy vouchers 24 7. The system is really easy to use both for customer and the hotel team. Giftpro will be able to answer any questions or queries we have straight away, the team at Giftpro are really friendly and helpful. We would recommend to anyone looking for an online voucher system.
