Alderley Edge Golf Club
Alderley Edge Golf Club, a members' club formed in 1907, is recognised for its friendly welcome and the challenge of its attractive, undulating nine-hole course. Having a modern clubhouse, with a spike bar and the Edge View Suite bar, we pride ourselves on the quality of service and hospitality provided to members and visitors.

We always welcome visitors at the club, to play golf, use our bar and catering facilities or to hire the Edge View Suite: for parties, special celebrations, leisure activities or business meetings and day conferences. There is no joining fee and our membership options cover all standards of golf with a unique Introductory Package for learner golfers.
Services
We are renowned as a club that provides a very warm welcome to the large number of visitors we receive (as individuals or groups), both from the local area and further afield. All of our facilities can be enjoyed throughout the year, be it a round of golf on a "pay and play" basis, top quality golf products or coaching provided by our resident PGA Professional, or to enjoy warm and friendly hospitality in the clubhouse.
Our excellent choice of food and golf packages will ensure that your group will have a great day out. We can accommodate small and large groups. Whatever your needs we can tailor make a package to suit. Please read our Society Golf Brochure which includes our packages with prices and menu options. Our usual society days are Thursdays and Fridays with a limited number of weekend dates also available.
Whether it's a 60 player charity event, or just 16 guys from the office, Alderley Edge Golf Club is the ideal choice. Many charity groups, businesses, and societies have chosen Alderley Edge to host their events. We offer first class golf in a magnificent setting, great amenities with a friendly attentive service.
Golf Express promotes the 9-hole round of golf as a complete and enjoyable experience that is consistent with the traditions of playing the game. 9-hole rounds are compatible with the Rules of Golf and the handicap system. Golf is a great way to keep active and healthy. Playing 9-holes will burn at least 450 calories because you will take more than five thousand steps.
A reminder that this coming Saturday is the President's Race Night and another chance to have some fun and to help the Captains' Charity drive for MIND, their chosen charity. The Race Night is 12 and gets you a Fish and Chip Supper and a sponsorship of a horse with payment on the night or in advance at the spike bar.

For a 9 hole course it's good. Holds a lot of water, the greens were wet from an overnight rain but didn't dry out at all by three second time around. Nice staff and clubhouse. Overall, would definitely play again.

Just been to a birthday party here. Good food, reasonable bar prices and great setting. I don't play golf so can't comment on the golf side. However it looks a nice and if given the opportunity to play golf or attend a function - go for it.

We held our annual Family Golf Day at AEGC last September which was a great success. 28 golfers took to the course with it's undulating fairways and fabulous views with bacon or sausage butties and coffee at the halfway point. 60 family and friends then sat down to an excellent 3 course carvery lunch in the Edge View Suite. Many thanks to all at AEGC - See you in September 2019.

The course is not old age friendly. Buggies are dangerous. And people play with jeans on. Its not liverpool. Its supposed to be a high class course. Will never play it again and same goes for my golfing partners. Rubbish is all we can say
