Services
Our beautiful luxury room offers you the chance to view the sun rise from the comfort of your own balcony. Relax in the roomy super king bed and enjoy a large ensuite with bath and shower. This lovely room also has a seating area, dressing table, flat screen TV with Freeview, minifridge, coffee and tea making facilities.
We want to offer you a breakfast that allows you to feel free and easy yet safe and reassured. Traditional seated dining in our breakfast room won't allow for this so instead we will be delivering breakfast to your room during your stay. We've placed tables and chairs in the rooms, or you can enjoy your meal alfresco in the garden, weather -permitting!
If you are thinking of making a booking, we recommend telephoning us, so we can discuss which of our rooms would be best for you. If you book with us directly, we can also guarantee the lowest rates and greater flexibility if you need to change your plans.
Subject to availability, single occupancy of our rooms (all of which are doubles) will be charged at 10 less than the rate for 2 people sharing, unless you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night when we do not offer single rates, or over a Bank Holiday or Goodwood Event, when a minimum stay policy applies.

We are a 10 bedroom bed and breakfast establishment. We have 5 bedrooms on the first floor of the house and 5 ground floor gardens rooms one of which is wheelchair accessible. We also have a bar and breakfast room. We can be contacted by telephone on 01243 606899, fax on 01243 607826 and e-mail at hello@thecoastyard.co.uk.
Our garden is what makes us unique. Landscaped and with a cottage garden feel, it is south-west facing and is a sun trap in the summer. The top part is lawn and herbaceous borders and ideal for sitting out as we have sunshine all afternoon in the summer months until late evening. Further down we have a more secluded shady area dominated by an old walnut tree, this spot looks wonderful in the spring when the bluebells are out.

Stayed in the family room which was probably the best family room we've stayed in. 2 bedrooms with a door separating the two meant my wife and I didn't have to share a glass of wine in the bathroom (we've done this before to not wake the kids!). All the facilities are provided, work well and of a high standard and all nicely decorated. As the owner of two energetic boys, the use of the well maintained garden was a superb extra (it was large and secure which meant they could run about freely). The host (sorry I'm terrible with names) was lovely and the breakfast was good.

Lovely b&b. The owners are probably the nicest people ever. The room was more than adequate, clean, tidy and very spacious. All the usual amenities. Breakfast was very tasty and arrived at the time we asked. Due to covid there were a few restrictions in place. The owners totally accommodated the restrictions and still made our stay a great one. Will definitely be going back in the near future.

Close to the town centre and the beach and on the main bus route to Chichester makes this the perfect location. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-appointed and the breakfasts tasty and tailored to our needs. Our hosts were always helpful and accommodating and their local knowledge was so useful. Covid 19 precautions were thorough and reassuring without detracting from our enjoyment. We loved it.

The Coast Yard at St Andrews lodge was one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. It was very clean and the rooms my Wife and I had was large. (Room 1) we see a few other rooms too but this was the largest by far. It had an on suit bath room which again was a very good size. The staff were very friendly and made you feel that you were at home through out our stay. The cooked breakfast was made with good quality ingredients. The only fault is it could have been a bit bigger, but I'm a big eater and the rest of the family said it was just right. So take that as you will. All in all I would definitely
