Margaret Preedy is a triple Fellow with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Licentiate with (IDTA) and has been teaching in Maidstone for many years.

For that special day we can choreograph something very simple but still very effective for you to dance to "your song" we would usually suggest 2-3 lessons or maybe more if you want to do something more complex. Regular beginners classes to learn the basic in all the popular dances to prepare you for a special event, cruise or wedding or just to start you off with a regular hobby.
You can learn to dance or improve on your dancing at one of our classes or with a private lesson. We teach all ages all popular dance and the emphasis is always on FUN Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Cha Cha Cha, Jive, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Rock 'n' Roll, Lindy Hop & Swing, Disco.
I have been teaching Children's classes for 42yrs! My first class was when I was 16 with just 4 pupils which I then built up to a busyDance School and have achieved so much over the past 4 decades. I have had the pleasure of teaching so many lovely children over this time and meeting lots of people, it has always been a pleasure to watch the Children grow and learn and improve so much and I am so grateful for all your support.
We have some exciting dance events on at the Margaret Preedy Dance Studios, in Maidstone, Kent. Read below for a selection of a few firm favourites. A Fabulous evening with Entertainment, Sit Down Meal, General Dancing, Demonstrations, Tuition & FUN! We have a regular Tea Dance every Thursday Afternoon 2-4pm, come along and practice and socialise with a cup of Tea and Biscuits.
