For 25 years, GB Antiques and Furniture Centre has been attracting antiques and collectors buyers from around the world to North Lancashire. With 100 individual dealers, all indoors, owner Allan Blackburn, says the key to the Centre's continued success is its variety. Allan said, We have gathered together a good selection of different dealers, each with their own specialisms, so there's something for all types of collectors and buyers.
Children, pets and cleaners are definitely out if you want to preserve your fragile collectables! The passing of time is nothing compared to these, the three biggest culprits for damaging china, porcelain and glass! Apart from avoiding these factors, what else can you do to safeguard your beloved ceramics?
Whether you're selling one, adding to one or getting one valued, we have experts at the centre 7 days a week who are only too happy to help you with your collection. We can help you find that extra special piece you've been looking for, value your treasures for insurance purposes or realise the best price for you if you're interested in selling your items.
Lancaster Leisure Park and GB Antiques Centre are owned and managed by the Blackburn Family. Lancashire born Allan Blackburn attributes both his passion for antiques and his determination to succeed in business from his Grandfather, Thomas Blackburn. Thomas loved antiques and book collecting, and was himself a successful entrepreneur, with a spinning and weaving business in Preston, which was later to become Somic PLC.

In this case, bigger is not better. It is quite possibly the worst antiques shop (or collection of shops) that I have ever frequented. Whilst there are one or two had-decent stalls, the majority is bric a brac and absolute tat. The roof is falling down in places, making the entire place freezing and damp. There wasn’t a stall holder in sight, so not sure how you’re supposed to buy (if you are lucky enough to find something actually worthwhile spending money on). The fact they have the audacity to charge an entry fee is also beyond me - it’s probably a necessity due to them not actually making

Great place for picking up a bargain, full of weird and wonderful stuff, could easily spend hours there. Go with warm clothes on though! And pen and paper, as a lot of items are locked in cabinets and you have to remember the stalls name etc to get staff to open it.... and it's a hugh maize of place.....
