Norton Rose Fulbright is a top global law firm with offices in more than 50 cities across Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. The origin of Norton Rose dates back to 1794 when the sole practitioner Robert Charsley opened for business. In 1821, Charsley formed a partnership with William Barker, creating Charsley & Barker.
Later that century, Phillip Rose (later Sir Phillip Rose) joined the firm, creating Barker & Rose. In the years that followed, a new partnership between Phillip Rose and Henry Elland Norton was formed under the name Barker, Rose & Norton. By the turn of the 20th century, the firm was called Norton, Rose, Norton & Co., and had maintained its position as a powerful force in the City of London for six decades.

Services
We aim to deliver the highest standards of legal services to our clients across our global business. For us, achieving this is not just a matter of technical capability; it is also about knowing the detail of our clients' businesses and understanding what drives their industries and markets. We also place a strong importance on advising clients in a commercial and pragmatic manner.
Our vision is to be a world class business, profitable, ambitious, cooperative and considerate, supporting our clients and people through our global business principles of Quality, Unity and Integrity. We apply our business principles to all our activities world-wide. They describe our culture and personality both internally and externally, the way we work and what we stand for.
The Global Executive Committee is responsible for the formulation and implementation of Norton Rose Fulbright's strategy and the coordination and direction of the practice. The Global Supervisory Board is responsible for monitoring the activities of the Global Executive Committee to ensure that the Committee delivers to Norton Rose Fulbright the agreed strategic development and systems.
Advances in law firm organisation and legal sector technologies mean law firms can now deliver services to clients in more effective and efficient ways. We are achieving this through NRF Transform, our global change and innovation program. NRF Transform aims to change how we work internally and with our clients, driving effectiveness in our deployment of people, processes and technology and maximizing the value of the service we provide.
