Funky Photo Booth is a brand owned and operated by local photography company, Solent Studios. Established in 2008 we were the first photo booth company on the south coast. Founder, Rob Dunning builds the first Funky Photo Booth after an inspired trip in Las Vegas. It seems not only are we the first photo booth company on the south coast but one of a handful in the country.
For private events such as weddings and birthdays, we offer a large 80-page guestbook with glue sticks and metallic pens. Alternatively, if you have your own design or theme just send us the artwork and we'll try and replicate it. Each Funky Photo Booth comes with a prop box loaded with items for guests to get down and funky with.
With a vintage photo booth style and a hint of discreet glitz, it rarely competes against any decor or theme at a venue. While 4-people can be quite comfortable inside, depending on size, up to 8-people can fit into a picture. As photo booth styles go, this is a "look at me" booth. It is great at enhancing a variety of themes at an event.
On the face of it, a wedding photo booth is no different from any other type of photo booth. However, there is a little more to it than that. In your search for photo booth hire, you will see all sorts of photo booth styles and there's something that will look great at most weddings. There are other factors to consider when choosing a photo booth company though.

I booked the igloo photobooth for my thirtieth birthday party recently and it was absolutely incredible! Rob came and introduced himself whilst he was setting up which was a nice touch as the dj didn’t do that, and Rob put all of my guests at ease in the photobooth, giving them direction and making them all laugh. Everybody loved it and the photos are all great. Thank you so much for everything, I’m over the moon with how it all went!

Rob was amazing right from the enquiry all the way until the big day. Very friendly and easygoing.
The photobooth was popular all evening and the guestbook that came with our package was perfect! So nice to not only read everyone's messages to us, but to also see how much fun everyone had.

We had a Funky Photo Booth at our wedding and it was a storming success! The guests had great fun as the evening progressed and we’ve got amazing memories of the evening which wouldn’t usually be caught on camera!
The Booth Butler was a gem making sure everyone had the props they wanted and generally looking after our guests.

We had a Funky Photo Booth for our combination anniversary/birthday party. We have loads of fantastic happy photo memories in our album. Everyone enjoyed themselves, bringing out a wonderful competitive happy atmosphere. Would certainly recommend one of Robs Photo Booths, along with his very helpful and professional Booth Butler's.
