Yasmin is a State Registered Chiropodist and Podiatrist offering a full range of Chiropody and Podiatry. Biomechanics is the study of the mechanics of living organisms. A chiropodist or podiatrist will use biomechanics to diagnose problems associated with movement, such as an abnormal walking pattern in a child or adult, or a sporting dysfunction in an active person.
Problems associated with general health or illness, such as Diabetes effect all age groups and both genders. Our feet carry us all our life, our whole body weight is held by them and so it is not so surprising to find that they eventually may develop the odd difficulty. Problems are often exacerbated by people simply being embarrassed to consult a chiropodist or podiatrist.
Many people are aware that Diabetes affects the feet and chiropodists and podiatrists are often asked: "How?". Diabetes mainly affects the foot because of two factors which combine to place diabetics at risk of developing a range of foot problems, some of which are extremely severe. In Diabetes the nerves in the feet and legs can be effected.

Yasmin is so friendly, warm and professional. And she has helped my foot heal from painful plantar fasciitis in just a few weeks, which has been crucial for me as I am doing the Great North Run this year. Since my initial consultation, I've had many visits and phone calls to ask for advice or get insoles adjusted or fitted and not once has Yasmin charged me for her own time! If you're in need of a podiatrist then I fully recommend going to see Yasmin!
