The practice was established in 1994 and currently has five part-time, fully-qualified podiatrists working alongside Elizabeth Ashcroft. All six colleagues are members of the The College of Podiatry and are registered with the The Health and Care Professions Council. Elizabeth Ashcroft MChS BSc Podiatry, HCPC registration number CH12040.
Elizabeth graduated with a distinction from the Podiatry degree course at New College Durham in 1993. She worked within the NHS part-time at the Freeman Hospital (1993-98), and at South Tyneside until taking over the practice at Sutton Street in 1994. For sixteen years she also did NHS sessions at Claypath Medical Practice, covering diabetic clinics, general podiatry and nail surgery.

Services
This builds up when your skin is affected by pressure or friction. Small amounts can be removed using a pumice stone or foot file but thicker areas may become uncomfortable, or dry out and crack, and may need expert help. These are small distinct areas of thick callus, usually on pressure points underneath the foot or on toes, which can be very painful.
