Lowe's Marble and Granite - Francis N Lowe Ltd. is a 3rd generation family business. Situatated on the edge of the rural village of Middleton by Wirksworth near Matlock over looking the Peak National Park. Established in 1946 by Francis Norman Lowe after leaving the Royal Navy, the company is now directed by Elisabeth, Francis' granddaughter, and her husband Peter the 3rd generation.
2021 sees the 75th Anniversary of Lowes Marble & Granite. Manufacturers of bespoke granite and quartz worktop, island tops, fire surrounds, hearth, vanity top and much much more. The team of highly skilled dedicated masons, all of whom have been with us since leaving school. Have been trained in house all the skills required for working the stone to the best possible finish and between them have over 150 years experience.

Granite is one of the most practical work surfaces available. Offering a durable, hygienic worktop that comes in handy if you like making bread or pastry as its a lovely cool surface to roll out onto. Low Maintenance, there is very little care and maintenance required for premium quality granite worktops.
Lowe's Marble and Granite have a selection of granite samples available to view in the showroom and slabs on the yard. Below are a few of the granite's that we use regularly but if you can not see the colour or patterning that will fit your kitchen design, give us a call and we can track some down from the 1000's available.
Granite and Quartz Resin worktops are not just for new built and installed kitchens. You can fit granite or Quartz worktops to your existing units to refresh your kitchen and give it a new look. Here are a selection of completed kitchens, showing both new kitchen worktop installations and worktop replacement to existing kitchen units.
Natural Marble, Granite, Limestone and Travertine or Quartz Resin, there is something to suit everyone's design and style. From small cloakroom vanity top or shelf to bath panels, shower wall cladding and even a shower tray all made from beautiful natural stone. All items are manufactured onsite at our factory in Middleton by Wirksworth.
Bespoke House, Memorial and Commemorative plaques are all manufactured to your size and design. You can choose the font, image and colour of the engraving required to create your bespoke plaque.
