We are not part of a large group so are able to concentrate all our attention on providing a more personalised approach, focusing on giving you the support and guidance you need, both before and often long after the funeral has taken place. We believe that each funeral should be individual, and of course take into consideration both the wishes of the person who has died and their family.

If you would like to ensure that the funeral you arranging impacts less on the environment, we can advise you how to go about this. There are many natural burial sites all over the country which are environments where the body can be returned to the earth to decompose and disperse naturally. These sites vary in quality, therefore it is probably best to choose one which is a member of the Association of Natural Burial Grounds.

I can’t commend Nicky at Dale & Sons highly enough. She was both sympathetic and caring from the time we first contacted her following my Mother death, through to the funeral.
Her help and advice on arranging the funeral was excellent and we feel we absolutely made the right choice in choosing The Wodlands Chiltern for the funeral service.
We felt that she made a hard time just that bit easier.
