Our dedicated Goldsmith has been creating and repairing jewellery for over 40 years using traditional techniques and skills. We offer a reliable repairs service with our local goldsmith, who is experienced working with all types of metal, gemstones & pearls. Freshen up your white gold jewellery with rhodium re-plating - your jewellery will gleam like new!
Our goldsmiths are happy to send us examples of their work for you to see until you find your ideal ring. We can find the design you would like from our wide collection in store or you can share your design ideas with our team. Using our 'Search-and-Find' service, we can request a selection of rings for you to view with no obligation in our shop.
Alex spent his childhood in rural Suffolk. His love of the countryside and nature has provided the inspiration for many of his jewellery designs from bees and beetles to squirrels and flowers. The eccentricities of English life, often combined with humour, are depicted in other nostalgic designs. Each piece is intricately crafted and finished by hand in his workshop in London.

Absolutely amazing staff. Took my son's girlfriend to have her ears pierced as part of her Christmas present. She's always been quite scared to have them done but the lady who did them was so kind and explained everything to her she relaxed and it went without any problems. The lady even made her laugh at calling my son her dad.

My partner and I had a fantastic experience selecting my engagement ring together here. All staff were welcoming and helpful from the start and we were told that the original ring we liked could be adjusted to be just how we wanted it, which made it feel even more special! We went to collect the ring a few weeks later, however, after wearing it for a day or so I realised it was a little bit big. Emily immediately remembered me when I returned to the store which was lovely and was then super helpful in sending my ring off to be resized. It is now safely back on my finger and I would highly recommend

I took my mother's old engagement ring into Oliver & J Jewellery, to see if they could redesign it. The claws had broken off and the tips across the diamonds were untidy from past repair,after much consideration we decided on a rub over setting, and due to the price of gold at the moment, I had all three diamonds set in a silver trilogy setting. I couldn't believe how lovely it looked when I got it back, I kept the 18ct band so just the setting replaced at an affordable price, the jeweller even added gold to the band where it had thinned out.
