Here was a whole new world of colour and texture and it wasn't long before I became hooked. Luckily I had the bare bones of the garden sorted because from then on it had to take care of itself. I'm still grateful that my former self had the foresight to plant shrubs and perennials that continue to delight me.
I received the cube fluorite necklace and earrings today and I am very pleased with my latest addition to my jewellery collection. It is stunning and the colours are amazing. Thanks very much for the excellent job you made of restoring my two necklaces to 'as new condition. I'm very happy indeed with the results and for the good service you have provided.
The necklace is 27 (69.5cm) long. The back is a beadwork vine with a little beadwork flower clasp although the necklace is long enough to simply pop over your head. The centre is a closed flower which - when you flip it open, reveals a gorgeous aquamarine beaded flower inside. This is all my own design - and makes quite a statement.
The necklace is 36" (93cm) long, 22" to the top of the labradorite with around 6" of fringing below it. It is designed to move, the dangling 'vines' can be tucked around the main body or left to swing out. This necklace is totally original - I won't make another like it and you won't see anything like it anywhere else!
So slinky, so sophisticated! The lariat is 55 (140cm) long and is worked in double St. Petersburg stitch, which means it took a long time to make! Each side is worked separately in this stitch but the effect is worth it the effort. This would look stunning with a plain tunic top, or a plain dress (I'm imagining black linen!), or even with a white top and jeans.
