Called in here for look around when i was in the area as i noticed it is under new ownership. Very friendly welcome from staff when i asked if i could have a look around. The site is much improved now, decent toilets and showers. There is a new, much better looking reception and coffee shop ( coffee shop not open at the moment ). Nice to see they have added a few hardstanding pitches. Lakes look good. Some pitches back on to the fishing lakes, handy when you want a cuppa and can leave your kit set up. Will definatly book a weeks holiday here soon.

Stayed a week mid August and although quiet and good for fishing that's about all. Have to pay extra for electricity, showers, fishing and the dog. No cafe still and the showers and toilets were tired and a bit grim. Also pitches really close together so not a lot of privacy.

Very quiet campsite. Excellent fishing opportunities. Remote location, so expect to drive to nearest offsite shops. Excellent central location for exploring Dorset and Somerset. Very friendly staff and brilliant facilities.

Love the quietness at the campsite. We are on the campsite near to the restrooms which has disabled shower which you need to get a key from reception which is by the shower block which I found very useful Just make sure that you have 50p too Work the shower. WELL WORTH A VISIT

We managed to get a day earlier to visit and loved it that much we stayed an additional night (the only availability or we would of stayed longer). Rob and Caz were very accommodating, the site very tranquil and lakes just outside your door. We made friends with our neighbours and enjoyed evenings of bbqs Lake side. The only downfall I can find (I'm very hard to please) is that it would be lovely for a few benches around the carp lake so as of a evening it would be lovely to sit and have a bite to eat or a few drinks as the scenery is beautiful. We used our table and chairs on numerous evenings

Friendliest campsite in England, very clean & well maintained. Surrounded by wooded hills with 4 fishing lakes on site, this place is a true gem. Will definitely come back.

Just been taken over by new owners, there really nice couldnt have helped out more. Nice clean toilets and small cafe and shop, although the cafe is closed at the moment due to covid. Would definitely come back again. Also nice lakes you can pitch up next to for fishing and its generally just nice to sit by the lake and have a beer.

Friendly and helpful site wardens on an otherwise pretty fishing lake location surrounded by trees but consists mostly of resident permanently parked touring vans with varying degrees of appearance. Sadly there are only very few visitor plots. These plots are small, not very well kept being, muddy with little top balast under the van parking spot.
Toilets look good from out side but are somewhat tatty and depressing once inside.
