Ridge Farm Camping & Caravan Park
Ridge Farm Camping and Caravan Park is a friendly, family-run site on a small farm in Wareham, Dorset. With level grassy pitches and good clean facilities, our peaceful location is ideally situated to explore the local area which includes Wareham, Corfe Castle and the Jurassic Coast with its many coastal walks and stunning views.

We strive to maintain the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the site, so that our visitors can relax and enjoy their stay in this beautiful rural setting, without the disturbance of club houses, bars and amusement areas. We are surrounded by nature reserves, to the west of Poole harbour in Dorset. We're approximately 1 miles south east of Wareham, 3 miles from Corfe Castle and within 10 miles of Studland and Swanage.
Services
The park is ideally situated for the beautiful Purbeck Hills, the Jurassic Coastline and the wonderful sandy beaches at Studland and Sandbanks. The attractions of Wareham, Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth are all within easy reach. Local attractions include the Arne RSPB and Nature Reserve with its wonderful walks and views, popular with wildlife and bird watchers.

Lovely quiet site with generous pitches and a well maintained toilet/shower block. Useful little shop for emergencies as well as nice coffee and ice creams. Excellent location for a pretty walk to Wareham, 20 minute walk to the bus stop for the regular and useful service between Poole and Swanage. We ran out of time for the walking and cycling we wanted to do, never mind the numerous other attractions. We’ll be back!!

We stayed in a bell tent at the site, a new venture! The tent was prepared for our arrival, cosy, comfortable and extremely thoughtful touches, made for a lovely weekend stay. Peaceful and well-equipped site, would highly recommend a stay, particularly the bell tents provided.

Our first time at this caravan/campsite trialling our restored vintage caravan. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ridge farm. Electric hook up with nice clean facilities. Lovely little farm shop with friendly staff and talking with other holidaymakers who have been coming back for many years we will also be doing the same. Planning our next visit with our grandchildren. Plenty to see and do not too far from ridge farm. We can recommend the short walk alongside the marina and river frome into Wareham. Nice food and good pubs. Must try the Quay Inn. A short drive to swanage or studland where you will

Peaceful campsite and although large and lots of families, was still quiet enough and didn't feel like a holiday park. Good level of facilities and although the shower/toilet block was rather dated, it was clean enough and had hot water. Easy check in even though we got their later in the day.

Only had a two night stop over hear to explore Arne, however in that time I can fully recommend the site for all ages and facilities were spot on. All grass site which was maintained well and local to plenty of walks/bike rides. Already working out when we should go again. Thanks for a great few days.

I used to come here as a child, and have recently rekindled my love of camping. Ridge farm is a lovely little campsite, fairly small in comparison to the larger sites, flat but very well maintained. Nice sized pitches - we have a large tent. Toilet block and showers are kept very clean and the onsite shop serves coffee and a variety of things. This is our second visit this year and it's never failed to disappoint.

Lovely quiet site. We took our bicycles and rode across glorious countryside to Corfe Castle. Couple of shots where we can't ride and took our bikes over a fence. But so magical to see the steam train with Corfe Castle in the background. I will be back here soon x

Lovely clean site, well set out and ideally located for walking or cycling. All necessary precautions were in place for Covid so we felt perfectly safe. Our adventures by bike included trips to Arne Nature Reserve, Studland Peninsular, Wareham Forest and Corfe Castle but there's so much more on offer.
