The inception of LCS started over 26 years ago in 1993 when husband and wife team, Ian and Debbie, began offering courier services around the small village of Liverton, near Newton Abbot in Devon. With commitment to customer care and a close eye on attention to details, the company soon outgrew the premises in Liverton and moved to Peamore on the M5/A30/A380 intersection in Exeter, the perfect location for rapid-response logistics.

At LCS Transport we specialise in providing crane-assisted transport services for heavy goods such as storage containers, industrial machinery, signage and abnormal loads. Our fleet of crane-assisted lorries (or 'Hiabs') are fully compliant to move to any site in the UK and Europe. With one of the largest lorry mounted cranes in the South West, freight can be unloaded at distance where competitors fail.

Our modern, wide range of vehicles are available 24 hours-a-day allowing for rapid reaction and reliability. Same day deliveries and collections from anywhere in the UK can be arranged as well as time critical road transport to Europe. Our qualified transport consultants can recommend the best solution for your requirements as well as advise on transit times and customs.

For over 25 years we have been collecting and delivering aircraft engines and precision aviation engineered equipment throughout the UK and Europe. LCS can react at any hour of the day or night to any AOG requirements -we can supply double manned teams to ensure the quickest delivery times by road as well as on board flight couriers for time critical deliveries.

Here at LCS Transport we can also supply quality, 'one-trip' ISO shipping containers in 10, 20, 30 or 40ft formats and, alongside our fleet of lorry-mounted cranes, we can deliver these straight to your door. If you have no space at your premises, then you could enquire into hiring one of our 20ft storage containers on-site at our secure yard in Exeter that also has 24 hour access.
