It is the objective of Diggle Day Nursery and Education center to provide the highest standards of care and education for all children attending the setting. We aim to provide a happy friendly, comfortable and safe environment where the children are stimulated, challenged and fulfill their learning needs through play experiences.
The Caterpillar/ Baby Room is a calm, homely environment which caters for babies and their needs to help them progress and develop in stable, comfortable surroundings. The room follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and works closely with the Butterfly/ Toddler room in order for the children to interact with each other and familiarise themselves with other staff members.
The child's key person is a valuable resource in relation to the child's care, learning and development. Playing and Exploring - engaging in activities. Active Learning - motivating. Creating and Thinking Critically - extending how children think. Staff within each room will at all times share responsibilities, jobs and child interaction.
