Our staff are expertly trained boot fitters using the Phil Oren system and are very happy to spend time with our customers measuring feet and adjusting boots and footwear to ensure a near-perfect fit.
We have a complete range of climbing equipment for you to buy online including harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes, ropes and essential equipment including slings, karabiners and belay devices. They stock Darn Tough socks but refuse to exchange damaged products in spite of Darn Tough's unlimited, no questions asked lifetime warranty and despite what it is says on DT's official UK distributor website that "[you] can drop into your local Darn Tough stockist who will be able to offer you a replacement from their stock on the spot."

Great shop and great customer service. Had a small issue with a paramo jacket. Both Paramo and the store sorted the problem brilliantly in very good time. Products are competitively priced and excellent quality. Friendly staff too. Used loads of waterproof jackets over the last 25yrs and Paramo is the driest and most comfortable for UK conditions.

Just called in today on the off chance to seek some advice on walking shoes as I have wide feet. Lovely guy in the shop (May have been the owner) nothing was too much trouble; he took the time to measure my feet and let me try and walk around the shop in some shoes, for as long as I needed too. Ended up with perfect fitting walking shoes by Meindl Respond GTX. Thank you

What amazing service from Dave at Gorge Outdoors!
I ordered a Paramo Mirada jacket and following delivery and trying it out, I realised that it was probably not going to be robust enough for what I needed for hill and mountain walking and back packing in Wales.
Having spoken with Dave I decided that I probably should have purchased the Andina jacket instead. I was asked to return the Mirada, and a replacement Andina then arrived almost by return of post, at no extra charge!
That is what i call excellent customer service! I shall definitely be back to Gorge!
