Came here for an event our friend was dj-ing at... and it was brilliant! Tunes, after tunes after tunes... if you get chance you gotta check it out! We're from Wolves so the mission to get to Derby was already a bit like... what is this bar gonna be like?! However, surpassed our expectations and we had a brilliant night! Not sure what it's like on a standard Saturday but this event was sick! They have to sort those toilets out though... pretty grim...

Hidden down an alley off saddlers gate, can get extremely busy though, 2 floors which get very busy, pool table, busy almost everyday of the week, with a good cocktail and drinks list, prices arent too bad for a popualr bar. the outside area is well set out with lots of seating and heating for the colder nightss. music is generally paid throughout the place. staff are hard working but it can take a while to get served becuase of bar position and layout of the inside of the bar, good atmospshere in general and very good happy hour

Vines Wine Bar is a place you won't automatically know without being recommended, as it is hidden away down an alley in Sadler Gate. As a student, I was recommended to this place as I was told it was a great place to go for cheap drinks & it was! Double vodka and red rooster for £2 was much better than the bars down the highstreet & cocktails for the same price were on offer.
The bar itself is great if you like places that don't look like the stereotypical winebar. Its very 'old' and contains a great courtyard out the back with a pool/snooker table. Upstairs is also

A hidden away bar amongst a busy derby night life, this low key venue is very popular with people both young and old and offers a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Busy most nights of the week particularly in the summer becoming the place to be with many taking advantage of a heated patio/garden at the rear of the bar. Music is played through the venue at the weekends with a DJ mixing funky house tunes.
