Haus Publishing
Inspired by the Monographien of the German publishing house Rowohlt, Haus begun publishing short biographies in the Life&Times series with a translation of Sebastian Haffner's Churchill. In recent years our list has broadened substantially and now includes history, politics, current affairs, memoir, art books and fiction in translation. Since 2005, Haus has published travel writing from around the world under the Armchair Traveller imprint, and in 2008 began publishing literary fiction in translation.
Services
At Haus we publish biography, history, politics, current affairs, memoir and fiction in translation. We publish travel writing under the Armchair Traveller imprint. We do not publish autobiography, poetry, fiction for children or fiction for young adults.

We offer internships to students and graduates who are enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate about publishing. We particularly welcome applicants who come from BAME backgrounds, or who identify as being part of any other group currently underrepresented in publishing. Interns will have the chance to gain insight into various aspects of the industry including editorial, production, and sales and marketing.
