Dennis Publishing
Our vision is to be the most dynamic international media group. We are dedicated to growing the best loved media brands in the UK and US, restlessly innovating across different platforms to bring our audiences new sources of inspiration, information and entertainment. Our vision and values come from all of us.

They existed already, unwritten, in the way we work, how we communicate and how we think. What we have done is express those beliefs in words, focusing on what makes Dennis truly unique and Brilliantly Different to other organisations. Brands that stand the test of time and build their influence across every emerging platform and technology.
Services
We pride ourselves on our flexibility in how we work - it's your choice when you want to work from home or work from the office. You'll have 28 days fully paid annual holiday entitlement to get away from it all each year, plus bank holidays. Up to six months paid maternity leave (at 90% of salary) and a dedicated working parents coaching programme to help parents and carers balance the transition.
Since the early days of the business, Dennis has had licensing and syndication at the core of its international strategy. Whilst other media owners have see-sawed between setting up licensing programs and then developing wholly owned subsidiaries, Dennis has always held the belief that licensing our brands and syndicating our content should be at the very centre of how we internationalise our business.

This company rang me up asking me if I wanted a trial subscription of "The Week" as I have a subscription for "Moneyweek" I told them I did not want it as I did not want to set up a Direct Debit over the phone. A couple of weeks later I received an email saying "Welcome to The Week" and that a direct debit had been set up!!! They had used my existing bank details and set up a new direct debit without authorisation. I am absolutely disgusted at this. So I contacted them via an online chat on their own website and asked them what was going on, obviously they could not do anything about it until the

Oh dear, for the last 4 weeks, the copy of the two magazines I've subscribed to have failed to show up. I've phoned the subscriptions number every week, explained what has happened and been told that the postal service is to blame, and that they'll 'look into it'. Only for exactly the same to happen again the following week. How difficult can it be to send out a magazine?

Terrible customer service. After taking up a free trial of The Week Junior, firstly they started it at the wrong time, next they did not send all the free issues and lastly they stopped sending them but continued to take money from my bank account! I would not recommend taking a subscription via this company.

Although there are quite a few contenders for this award, Dennis Publishing must have the worst efficiency and customer service I have ever come across. I responded to a flyer to buy a subscription to The Week a month ago. Payment made by credit card which has gone through. I requested an email confirmation of the order and was promised one in 72 hours. Apparently the order taking department are NOT ALLOWED to send emails. It must go the email department. 4 phonecalls and 4 weeks later still no email confirmation. Utter shambles.

Octane Magazine, great magazine, if you ever get it. As International customer you can expect to receive the magazine approx. when you can pick the next issue up from the newsstand. No reply to emails sent to the Customer Service. Now ordered Classic and Sport car instead. Dn't bother sending me a kindly standard reply that I should contact you, I already did. Should have checked your Trustpilot score before subscribing. How can a company live with such a low score and so many bad customer reviews without acting?

I signed up to their Auto Express trial subscription (6 issues and a free gift) but all I received was the first two magazines and I didn't receive the gift either. It appears there are many other people in the same boat as me and their customer service team are telling everyone lies that the magazines have all been lost in the post and that replacements are on the way, which of course never arrive.
The amount of people reporting that they have had money taken from their account without their permission by Dennis Publishing is very concerning. I'll be closely monitoring my account.

Fraudulent company, they got my details from who knows where and set up a subscription. They are the only ones benefiting from this and this is not the first time they have done this to people...look on trust pilot...and they have had the problem for a long time and not actually dealing with the issue. Same old standard "we are looking into it" replies...how long do these things have to carry on some are a year old.I hope it is damaging their business as they deserve it...

A truly abhorrent company. They’ll promise you a free gift and tell you that it’s been dispatched and will be delivered in 28 days. Also, after 2 editions my deliveries stopped. They’d happily extend it... though, none of the extension issues received either.
Then say that the offer has been pulled due to ‘abuse’ on a deal website. They then send copy and paste responses to any emails sent.
Fundamentally, this company’s ethos is to lie to customers and deceive them. I highly recommend NOT ever using Dennis Publishing.
Fundamentally, the management and customer service approach is

Subscribed via Dennis to Auto Express on a trial offer 6 issues for £1 with a complimentary Autoglym Bodywork Wash & Protect Complete Kit.
The £1 was promptly taken by Dennis through Direct Debit and I started to receive the magazine.
Queried whereabouts of the gift after a month they said it must be lost and would re-send. Waited another month still no gift so queried once more and mentioned I'd only had two issues of the magazine.
They then said I'd used a Hot Deal offer and would not be taking any money (even though they already had). A few days I had a cheque through the post for £1.

This is probably a favourite, was a favourite!

Ending the scandal of MyGeneration's immediate call for publishing and publishers to learn from past and present, agents clearly rerouted local authority contracts as a result of inadequate time allocation which takes priority on this particular occasion. We press ahead and change the way our industry is now perceived by currently going a step further to supply further choice.
