Services
We have a beautiful studio in Ipswich and also teach from various Suffolk and Essex locations. We love teaching people of all ages and levels to dance whether you wish to dance socially or competitively.

Our school is recognised with the NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing), ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association)and ABD (Associated Board of Dance)and is now run by Rosemary Watson, Jennifer Dix, Susan Matthews and Emma Hawley. All are qualified and very experienced teachers and former competitors.
Emma's professional qualifications include Fellowships in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle with the ISTD and the NATD. She has lectured for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the National Association of Teachers of Dancing on many occasions and is a Championship Adjudicator. Innovation, creativity and inspiration are the qualities Mark believes are essential in an ever-changing dance world.
Just for fun or competitions, shows and exams. Learn the elegant, graceful Ballroom technique and the many different Latin American rhythms. Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Encourage your little one to fall in love with the art and discipline of Ballet.
Our classes are available on a PAYG basis and as part of a membership plan. Head over to our Plans and Pricing page to take advantage of our membership deals and savings. Sign up and receive you own online Ipswich Dance account where you can manage your plans, bookings and be first to know about our upcoming events.
Our Adult Classes run throughout the week at our Bond Street Studio as well as additional venues throughout Suffolk and Essex. We have classes covering many dance genres from Ballroom to Ballet and lots in-between! There's a class to suit all abilities so please get in touch to find out the best class for you or book online.

The Ipswich School of dancing is like a big family who welcomes anyone with open arms. Everyone here are so friendly and kind, allowing you to persue dance to the best of your ability and at whichever rate you may learn at. All of the teachers here are so supportive and committed to help their students achieve whatever their goals may be whether it be to compete as a team, do shows, wedding dances, social dancing or just for fun, it is always more than enjoyable to spend time with people you know and people you will soon to be the best of friends with. This school is definitely like a second family

The Ipswich school of dancing is a fabulous place to learn to dance with a lovely dance floor. Its also great that once you have learnt to dance the school holds a social dancing evening every Saturday with the opportunity to meet lots of other people if you want to.

Everyone at the school is always friendly, always willing to help. Even when you have two left feet, you'll leave feeling you may one day feel like Ginger Rogers or Fred Astaire.
