Established in 1984 as a Charity, Rosemount Care Home has built a solid reputation for providing the highest quality of care and facilities to both male and female residents. We place huge emphasis on the care of our residents and have a dedicated team of caring staff that are available 24 hours a day to ensure that our residents are always well cared for, comfortable, happy and content.

Rosemount is situated on Medomsley Road, which is close to local amenities and public transport. Being converted from a former Victorian Doctor's house, Rosemount is compact and cosy with individually tailored rooms, giving a home from home environment. In addition to elderly care, we offer a range of specialist services including Daycare and Respite care.

About Us Report

Rosemount has been a Care Home for over 30 years. From the moment you enter Rosemount you will receive a warm welcome in traditional surroundings in a home of character and distinction. Our aim is to continuously improve the comfort of our residents. We are currently refurbishing our former dining room to create a homely, relaxing lounge which can be further utilised for entertaining and events.

Our Services Report

We endeavour to deliver professional care from dedicated staff with a loving homely atmosphere. All residents whether residential, respite or daycare are treated with respect for their privacy and personal preferences. Individual Care Plans are continually updated with personal and medical requirements.

Reviews Report

Rosemount Home is a really caring family home where each and every resident is cared for and loved by all the staff. Nothing is a bother to the girls and not forgetting Ian. Lots of activities and entertainment are a weekly feature and the residents have just been introduced to a theme night once a month which they love.
