Jane the owner and head stylist has been a dog groomer for over 16 years, holds a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification and has a wealth of experience and expertise within the dog grooming industry. She has also been teaching dog grooming for over 6 years and holds a teaching qualification.
When you arrive at The Posh Paw we will undertake a thorough consultation with you, during which we will discuss your preferred style for your dog, based on their coat type and body proportions as well as their lifestyle.We consider each dog as a whole including any medical, psychological or behavioural issues that they may be experiencing.

A range of treatments, specially selected for their beneficial qualities and natural ingredients. The Mineral Mud Bath is a deep cleansing rich formula that repels fleas and ticks, but is also hypoallergenic and safe for dogs of all ages. It is full of essential oils and minerals that will restore the coats natural beauty, strengthen the skins immune system, helps with blood circulation and prevents broken hairs.
This treatment uses specially designed massage sponges that are impregnated with therapeutic and essential oils. A calming and relaxing treatment in which your dog receives a massage. Aids with blood circulation, relieves stress and enhances both the metabolism and the lustre of the coat. The soft scent also helps soothe nervous and elderly dogs.
If you cancel or re-schedule your appointment with less than 24hrs notice or fail to attend an appointment there will be a cancellation fee of up to 50% that must be received before further bookings can be made, as you can appreciate wages and building running costs are still incurred and need to be covered.
All of our training is delivered by a qualified teacher/trainer with City and Guilds qualifications and teaching/assessor qualifications. Jane has been a dog groomer for over 16 years and holds a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification, she has a wealth of experience and expertise within the dog grooming industry.

Mackens first visit to a groomers. Right from our arrival the friendly and welcoming team made us feel very comfortable. We were not rushed and they were careful to understand what we needed. Macken looks amazing. His coat is so shiney and his trim is spot on. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.

I brought my dog in the other day and asked for his hair to be cut short. The lady I spoke to was very polite. However I did say “3” times please make sure it’s short all around as he sheds a lot!
So we picked him up after he was finished, to my surprise it was “slightly” shorter, as if he just had a trim...
I looked at my gf and although I tried to hide it she noticed on my face but it was closing time and I had seen that the staff packing up to leave and my dog was the last their so I felt abit rude for some reason to say “I’m not happy with it” just because I didn’t want
