K9 Clip & Shine is a Professional Dog Grooming Salon in Northamptonshire that offer a friendly, personal and caring approach to cater for your pets grooming needs. We are Fully insured, Vet recommended and a member of the Pet Industry Federation. Our experience in safeguarding animal welfare means we will happily accept nervous or problem dogs too.

Services
We now offer two ways for you to arrange a booking with us. Ideally we'd welcome your call so that we can discuss your exact requirements and your dog's groom to assess the time required for the appointment. You can now also book online. Alternatively you may wish to select a date and time suitable for you to bring your pet into us.
Customer car parking is directly outside the shop, and is accessed through a dropped curb situated within the bus stop that runs off the Welford Road in front of the shop.
Please ensure when entering and exiting the parking area that you are considerate and aware of all pedestrian movements along the pathway that crosses the dropped curb access to our parking area, and also that you are careful of other vehicles using this area of the Welford Road and the Bus stop.

Our client grooming agreement is a very important document that sets out the terms between us the groomer and you the customer. All grooming is carried out in accordance with this policy and is undertaken on the basis that you have read this document and give us permission to carry out the groom on your dog with this understanding.

I had my boy clipped here before lock down and they were 100% perfect... so lovely to him, calmed his nerves and he came home looking amazing! Due to lock down I tried to be responsible and used a groomer more local to me recently and they did such an awful job (he looks like a 3 year had been left alone with blunt scissors!), I felt compelled to write a positive review for k9 clip&shine as it’s highlighted just how brilliant they are... Highly recommend!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Our first time at K9 my dog was bruised he also had cuts. He is now very nervous, lying around his eyes following us everywhere. I don't even think he had a bath, I returned to collect him early and he was still in the process of being groomed and nails clipped. I had to bath him the next day

Tink had her ear cut from another groomers and had to have her sedative ever time she went to them , so I heard of K9 a little bit out of my way but I heard good things so I phoned them spoke to Kim and explained what happened , Tink has been going to K9 for 5 years she doesn't have to be sedative any more , she walks in looking forward to being pampered she loves Kim and everyone who works there , highly recommen them very friendly worth every penny
