W.R. Sports Club is part of Ashford Sports Club and its main purpose is to provide facilities for, and to promote participation in the amateur sports of bowls, darts, pool, table tennis and tennis in the local area. The sports site is located in Woodthorpe Road, Ashford (which is the home of Ashford Bowls Club, Ashford Table Tennis Club and Ashford Tennis Club).
WRS offers the local community sporting membership by joining any of the above three sports clubs, and social membership, which includes darts, pool, Sky TV and social functions at the clubhouse. WRS enters teams in the local darts and pool leagues.
