Services
My new Online Cafe-Deli and two bricks and mortar cafs (currently closed) serve fresh, delicious handmade food and drink. Luckes is housed in a beautiful listed building, centrally-located in the historic city of Chichester. It is a lovely space, with a tranquil courtyard at the back, where you can relax with friends and family, or if you are in a hurry, all our food and drink is to takeaway as well.
Order Monday-Friday by 5pm for next day delivery (bread orders must be by 12pm for next day and on Friday for Monday). Weekend orders delivered Monday. Minimum order value 20. Melanie Luckes, Chef-Nutritionist, has created a delicious range of chilled deli products. They are handmade by the chefs at Luckes, using fresh ingredients, locally sourced where possible and all preservative and additive free.
Luckes was set up 3 years ago by Chef-Nutritionist Melanie Luckes, whose aim was, and still is, to make it easier to eat delicious healthy food. The cafe on North St has become a hugely popular destination for breakfast and lunch, with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. It came second in the Chichester Observer's Cafe of the Year Award 2019.
We can cater for any type of event. From formal to relaxed parties, weddings, large corporate or fundraising events, film shoots and business meetings at your office. Give us your brief and your budget, and we will come up with a bespoke menu to fit the occasion. The food will be in true Luckes style, fresh, vibrant and full of wonderful flavours.

Well when the owner treats someone so horribly and REFUSES to give them their money back before their food is even made, this place is a disgrace. If Im ever able to leave Canada ans travel out that way, I know what place I will be avoiding like the plague. And anyone I know who travels that way (which I know a lot who do) ill be making sure they know better then to go here.

Went here Monday for some lunch with a friend and was very pleased with the food! I got a vegan toasted panni, took out and substituted one ingredient and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unsure what the vegan cheese… alternative was, but I loved it! Certain brands aren't great and leave a weird texture in your mouth, but whatever version they use is lovely! Would definitely recommend, and will be back again😊

They should be apologetic when they forget to make your coffee. Staff bordering on rude when I enquired after waiting 15 minutes that I hadn't had my drink, then almost blaming me after a further 10 minutes of waiting because they had lost my order! Begrudgingly gave me a refund. Could have shown concern and perhaps offered a free drink, but they did neither.

Really happy to find this independent cafe. Delicious food and great combination of flavours. Didn't have any this time but the sushi looked great!
Had a flat white and my partner had a latte, both comes with double shot as standard which is refreshing to see. Organic coffee beans too and the batista did a good job with it 👍🏼 from what I could tell he was about the finish his shift but stayed to make our coffees to help out the other staff so good on him 🤙
