Chiropractic Patients' Association
The Chiropractic Patients Association (CPA) raises funds to support chiropractic research in order to advance knowledge, such that patients benefit both in treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare. We are a patient association and therefore represent the patient and their interests. The CPA is a charity and relies entirely on donations and members subscriptions.

On this site you will find a variety of information and advice on chiropractic including case studies and detailed descriptions of different techniques. We hope you find all you need on the website, if not please call our information service on 01980 610218 or email us.

Since its formation in 1966, the Chiropractic Patients' Association (CPA) has played a significant role in the development of the profession in the UK.

The passing of the Chiropractors Act in 1994 and the development and formalisation of the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) in 1999 were major milestones along the way to its major objective - recognition of the value of chiropractic treatment within the medical profession and its wider availability within the National Health Service (NHS).The CPA is the only body representing patient interests to the GCC.

Chiropractors provide care for patients of all ages, who present with a range of acute and chronic conditions.
Here you will find a range of case studies from animal chiropractic to child chiropractic. There are some interesting stories on people's experiences which you may be able to relate to. At the CPA we love to hear about people's experiences whether you're a patient or a chiropractor. If you have a story to share, please contact us and maybe we could use it in our tri-annual magazine or on the website.
