Hotplate welding conventionally means bringing two or more plastic components into contact with an appropriately shaped hot metal plate. The heat from the plate melts the closest surfaces of the components; the hot plate is then withdrawn, the components brought into contact with each other and allowed to cool.
This freestanding standard configuration allows parts to be loaded and unloaded by an operator and comprises of a work station which can be tooled to suit your requirements and a dual zone infra-red emitter providing the heat.
The emitters are designed for non-contact heat transfer and are programmed to transfer heat in a sophisticated step and linear profile which ensures that the parts to be welded are heated correctly ensuring that there will be no weld failure through material degradation. The horizontal format of the machine has the ability to weld together a wide variety of plastic parts including: - automotive, white goods and electronic plastic components.

This machine puts dispensing caps on to full bottles of hand cleaner at 40 capped bottles a minute, it was designed and manufactured to stand in-line and take bottles from a filling machine and transport them through a cap loading station and then into the welding station, the bottles would then exit on to a further conveyor for labelling.
