Westwood Caravan Park
Westwood Caravan Park situated just outside the picturesque village of Bucklesham in Suffolk. A family-run 90 pitch caravan park that welcomes Caravans and Motorhomes. Westwood Caravan Park provides an excellent range of facilities whilst retaining a friendly and tranquil atmosphere to help you enjoy your stay.

Westwood Caravan Park was opened in Easter of 2007 and is now run by a small family whom have a very large background in the caravanning industry. Westwood Caravan Park is situated just outside of Bucklesham, a small village with all the country virtues you'd expect, yet it's only a few miles from Ipswich, Suffolk's county town, with all the shops, supermarkets and facilities you could need.
Services
To book or to check availability please call us on 01473 659637 or email us using this link. Please note charges are non refundable and reservations non transferable regardless of circumstances. Sorry but this is in line with most leisure businesses and we still have overheads and costs regardless of whether you change your plans!
Our most important rule is courtesy and consideration for other guests and our neighbours. The 5mph speed limit must be adhered to at all times; the caravan park roads are part of the highway and are governed by law as such. All dogs must be kept on leads at all times and walked either in our dog-walking area or off-site.
For those wishing to have a firm base and want to just turn up and relax then our seasonal pitches are just for you! All Seasonal Pitches come with a Hard Standing Base with sink & shower soak away and your own private water tap and 16amp electricity supply.

With the option of a full seasonal pitch the prices are all inclusive of all of the usual facilites and if you leave your van with us over the closed season as you wish to stay for another year.Having a seasonal pitch gives you the right to only use the caravan for Leisure use and that immediate Family can use it other than yourselves.
We are introducing hard standing bases for selected seasonal pitches and intened to roll them out as quickly as possible, if you would like a hard standing base, contact the office using the number above or pop into the office upon your next visit to the site. Solid ground base for the caravan, stops the caravan sinking into the ground in wet conditions.
Westwood Park has an excellent range of caravan holiday homes designed to meet the needs of a wide range of families and their budget. We want you to enjoy ownership and that starts with not exceeding your budget. Our experienced and friendly staff will help show you the various options we have available at Westwood Park.

Nice place but spoilt by over noisey kids. Probably not an everyday occurrance but when you're only here for a few days and next door's kids are running around squawking it makes it hard to want to come back. Site owner's could try to emphasize the importance of keeping noise down.

This site just keeps giving and the good people running this site. Nice size pitches fully serviced. Also a nice size side with some 90 caravans and statics approximately in total. Well kept green and shrub areas with an on site cafeteria suitable for inside and outside dining. Add some good weather and some sunshine and it will be perfect. Always clean and tidy with good control of shared public areas with toilets, showers and laundry facilities including and outdoors cleaning area with sinks and hot water plus all the usual facilities. Expected on a good site. Lovely area for children to play

My husband and I have just stayed at this site for a week .
It is Clean , tidy and very well run, with excellent facilities although a dog run area would have been very much appreciated by our 6month old puppy.
The site wardens were very helpful and friendly.
However, the site is quite isolated so unless you have a caravan or tow a car on your motorhome this is probably not the best place to stay.
It is quite an unusual site with the majority of the pitches taken up by seasonal / semi residential tenants, most of whom were very friendly and welcoming.
Sadly the site is on a fast main road

Visiting the site and talking to people, along with a very brief stay, I can safley say the site is to regimental in layout, with no more then the minimum space needed. It is clear the rules that we were told are not applicable to all, and this was very evidedent in our short stay.
Also exceptionally clear people live full time on the site. Not much of a community feel, and the wardens appear to not really be true to the way a caravan park should be, not the Jenny and Alan described in other reviews.
Visited the other park under the same owners, 'The Oaks' and it all seems to be the same their

I've only spent a few months on a seasonal pitch so far. I have read previous comments and the bit that everyone goes to bed at 9 is particularly insulting. The wardens Jenny and Alan regularly throw themed nights ie quiz, Chinese etc and trust me nobody goes to bed at 9. I am a retired teacher on my own and I feel unbelievably safe there.Yrue the pitches are fairly close but they are clean dry and beautifully kept. Many of the seasonal owners have decorated their vans with ornaments, flowers and lights. I love my walks with my dog around the site .
The other great thing is the feeling of safety

We have been to this site for 5 years and on the whole we have enjoyed the facilities on site but limited. However, they do not like RV,s any more and was told that we would have to look elsewhere next year even though they are still advertising on their website ? All visitors must leave the park before 10 or you get told off. Everybody goes to bed at 9 at that place . Maybe it's a hint 🤔

We have just returned from a 4 night break over Easter weekend. It's not a bad site so why only 3 stars?
The good bits.
The on site staff are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome. The single shower block is very clean and the facilities are modern. It looked like a lot of plots were fully serviced. Each has its own water, 16 amp electric and grey water drainage. They are also shingled hard standing.
The bad bits.
I know it was a bank holiday but they really pack the vans in. There is a single one way track round the whole site. The plots are all off this, centrally and along
