The 1940s railway carriage was a real delight to stay in. It is done up beautifully and has all you need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Sam, Dave and co were great hosts who were very welcoming. They even provided us with a lovely bottle of prosecco to help us unwind. We left undiscovered villages and towns behind so we are very keen to come back and stay in the one it's kind railway carriage.
Thanks for having us! What a beautiful place! We spent three nights here during half term, a peaceful, happy haven for us and our two dogs. Sammy, Dave and family were friendly, accomodating and so kind. The Beehive is gorgeous! We will certainly visit again. Sammy, Dave, their lovely family and the dogs are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even when I broke the blinds!

Our bright and bushy tailed resident fox inspired our railway carriage theme and The Beehive was given it's name in memory of the colony of bees which lived in our chimney. Our charming copsy carriage is nestled into the grounds of a 17th Century former dairy farm. We try to be good custodians of the earth by using eco-friendly cleaning products, avoiding excess laundering and providing a haven in which wildlife can thrive and reproduce.
Welcome to the only original railway carriage accommodation in Wiltshire! This peaceful retreat is perfect for a restful getaway or to provide clear thinking space, with a table overlooking the farmland and railway line. Our carriage is warm, homely and bursting with character. With en-suite shower, self catering facilities, complimentary WiFi and flatscreen TV/DVD, this private hideaway allows you to kick back and reconnect.
Former outbuildings of our 17th Century farmhouse have been sympathetically converted by local craftsmen into a luxury dog-friendly apartment for two (twin or double) with a light and airy bedroom. Offering a fully fitted modern kitchen and en-suite shower room, The Beehive is suited to contractors, corporate visitors and those wishing to take a relaxing break on the edge of Swindon and the Cotswolds.
Superlative restaurant, bar and micro brewery offering a quirky menu including the likes of wild boar, venison, kangaroo together with an extensive wine menu. The only place to go in Swindon for genuine Spanish tapas including paella every Sunday lunchtime. Too many tasty dishes to recommend but a meal there wouldn't be complete without berenjenas (deep fried aubergine drizzled with honey).
A variety of things to do and places to see can be found on your doorstep and for those wishing to travel a little further afield, the options are endless. There is something for everyone from thrill seeking to chilling out! Please find below some suggestions but beware, the list is by no means exhaustive!

If this is 4 star I'll eat my own hat! It may have been around 30 years ago, but more fawlty towers than chic hotel.
Lovely welcome by someone who went on to say she was receptionist, bar person, and waiter for the night.
We had to change rooms, as nowhere did I read it was a "dog friendly" hotel, which on the bight we stayed was more like a kennels which was human friendly than a hotel that is dog friendly.
Old tired rooms that makes travelodge look like the ritz.
Breakfast was not much better, which we ended up leaving after a plate of grease was served with some anemic looking sausages and

As a venue very expensive at the bar, I don't mind paying hotel prices, if they used quality products. Meal was appalling roast potatoes touched the pan, mine were hard. Beef selection was not a good choice as it lacked the beef, (4 small not even bite size bits of beef) Room dated, no hair dryer in room, tea and coffee facilities but just enough for one cup of tea each..
Bed was like sleeping on a slab of headboard. English beakfast was edible, good selection of cereals.
Value for money, no..

We had a very disappointing visit to Brook Marston Farm Hotel. The hotel needs updating throughout and the room we were in the lights and switches need to be looked at and sorted out as some didn't work and the ones that worked all the lights came on.
The food was poor I had a chicken curry but there was only a small amount of chicken in and the rice was hard and dry, my husband had fish, chips and peas. The peas were dry and the chips were undercooked and hard in the middle, the breakfast was not good. We complained to the waitress and also the manager, our complaints were dealt with promptly

We had our wedding here on Sunday 17th October 2021 and although I am not one to normally write reviews I felt that this was needed and well deserved! The whole team at Marston Farm Hotel have been nothing short of fantastic! In particular Lee Mogridge was on hand to support at a moment notice and constantly there for us throughout the planning journey. No request was too much. On the day despite some mishaps Lee ensured that the day went as smooth as possible and was up from 3am with his chef sorting out a cake disaster! They fixed it and no one was the wiser!!
The day could not have gone better

Excellent stay here! Really enjoyed it! Staff are ever so friendly, couldn’t do enough for us! Nothing was too much trouble!
Catered for my autistic sons needs! Even with food as he is a picky eater! He loved his time at this hotel just like we all did!!
This hotel certainly has a family feel to it, such a beautiful hotel and the staff even told us the back story and the history to this building!! Will definitely be returning!

Do not stay here. General Manager lives on Cloud Cuckoo Land, completely out of touch with reality and people’s travel needs, requirements and restrictions. It’s all about the money, not about the guest. No appreciation for the difficulties that people still face when travelling. My advice is to stay with a more reputable brand that has clear policies that actually specialists in the guest experience. Cheap and cheerful, this certainly is not. Beware.

A rather eventful stay at the railway carriage... arrived at 7pm to be told that the railway carriage had been double booked. At this point we were extremely disappointed as we had travelled 3 hours from Kent. Firstly, we were offered an alternative stay in a caravan (advertised as a lodge as it has wood nailed to it) which wasn’t exactly a like for like alternative and it smelt! We opted to visit a nearby pub to decide what to do for the remainder of our 3 night stay.
Positively, when we arrived back at 11pm we were told that the railway carriage is now available and that there had been
