I have excellent service from this chemist for over 50 years. I have been on repeat prescription most of my life. A few years ago I was prescribed a drug by my own gp and when the pharmacist read the prescription, he rang my GP because he was aware that it reacted with my other medication and he got the prescription changed to one that wouldn't. The doctor had all of my notes in front of him but he hadn't! Had it not been for their diligence I would have been taking something that would be detrimental to my overall health.

Small inside, but great, knowledgeable staff.
Despite not getting to the pharmacy until about 5 minutes before closing and some confusion regarding my prescription, they still stayed open while I nipped over the road to pick up the prescription from Albert Road Surgery.
They also can electronically receive prescriptions from the Albert Road Surgery which is pretty cool.

Bousted's is my family's go to pharmacy. We all have repeat prescriptions and the staff know us well. If you are looking for a chemist like Boots, this is not your shop. It's a serious pharmacy and you won't find a vast range of make up or bathing products. You will get expert advice from friendly staff.
One of the most fantastic thing about Boustead's is the antique shop fittings which still have the old labels of specific chemicals. It makes most new customers say, 'Wow.'
