Before commencing MG Group, Gavin started up his own tax consultancy business in 2004, and this still continues to day, although on a much smaller scale than MG Group.
Gavin graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 1998 and joined Arthur Andersen on their graduate training programme. Gavin always aspired to be the owner of a business and in 2007 he founded his Chartered Accountancy firm, MG Group. Since then, Gavin has overseen the growth and development of his staff and client base, always bearing mind his strongly held core philosophy of providing an exceptional level of personal client care.
We provide a wide range of accounting and taxation services to individuals, owner managed businesses and estates/trusts. Our services range from traditional compliance services through to forecasting, business consultancy, corporate transaction (purchase, sale, merger), wealth management and legal services.
You can be qualified, part-qualified, undertaking your accountancy training or looking to train as an accountant. I met Gavin of MG Group several times, and ever since the beginning of our business relationship, he has always been friendly and professional. I have trusted him with all my business and personal accounts, this includes those heart wrenching visas (HSMP, Tier 1 and Permanent Residence) applications and reviews through the many years. And I have not considered or changed consultants since. Both him and his employees have been both courteous and professional throughout, informing me of the best course of action that meet my needs that are cost effective.

Gavin Fernandes and his team are excellent and for the last couple of years have dealt with my accounts, tax returns and company secretarial filings so I can concentrate on my day job. Response times are rapid. Fees are reasonable and quoted up front so there are surprises. A company that can deliver.

I have recently change my accountant to MG Group for my business as was not very satisfied with the service I was receiving from my previous accountant.
I must say that I have been very impressed with the service I have been receiving from MG Group so far. They are very professional and always on hand to provide sound advise and guidance on any questions and queries that I may have.
