Having worked as an upholsterer in Naples in Italy, Alessio came to England in 1963 and found work at W.G. Undrills in Cambridge. In 1976 he decided to leave to set up his own business. Maiorana Upholstery grew, and as the work came in, he had to employ more staff.
Some of today's "production line" furniture may not warrant the expenditure of re-upholstery works. Our staff will assess the quality of the item in question, and offer their honest, professional opinion as to its suitability for refurbishment. If your furniture is from a well known brand renowned for quality then it is worth recovering, especially if the replacement value is higher than the re-upholstery cost.
