Hannah and her team offer a modern approach to funerals while respecting the traditions of the past. There is no longer a need for funeral services to be standardised, like those that have dominated people's perceptions for the last century.
Signature Funerals offer families choices which will enable them to create a personalised and tailored service reflective of the person who has died, whether that's a service which is positive for the environment, a lively celebration of life, or a more formal, traditional approach.

Create a theme - Funerals most certainly do not need to be black, formal affairs. We can help you organise a colour theme for your guests or incorporate an interest or passion into the service such as a favourite football team or love of music. Show a life story through a DVD, release doves or butterflies, provide guests with take home mementos such as photo-cards or flower seeds.
At Signature Funerals we offer a bespoke funeral plan which involves sitting down with you and carefully going through your exact funeral wishes. It gives you the opportunity to completely personalise your funeral and make it a tribute to the life you lived. We offer you the opportunity to pay for your plan in one lump sum or up to 15 years in monthly instalments.
When someone dies at home a qualified person will need to confirm their death. This may be a person's GP, or an out-of-hours doctor, or paramedic. Once the death is confirmed and you are ready, you can give us a call on 01706 829482 to arrange for us to bring the person who has died into our care. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

Hannah and her team provided an exceptional service for a friend of mine who passed away. Nothing was too much trouble, and they bent over backwards to help us organise a perfect send off for a dear friend. I can't thank Hannah enough for the wonderful service that both she and her celebrant, Helen, provided to us on the sudden passing away of a much loved colleague. Everything was handled with a high level of professionalism and compassion. I honestly cannot recommend Signature enough, they are fabulous! Six years ago we used a large corporate company in the planning of my grandads funeral and I decided that for my dad who died in October, I didn't want that for him. I wanted to choose somewhere local, bespoke and creative - Signature gave me all of that and more. From the first meeting with Hannah, I knew she would be perfect for my dads 'send off' - her ethos is fantastic. Thankfully planning for the passing of a loved one doesn’t happen very often, but when that time comes it can be unbelievably overwhelming, and there is no bigger decision than who will be trusted with the funeral arrangements and most importantly caring for your loved one after life.
This was our position over Christmas, we knew my Nan was coming to the end of her life and the inevitable question arose around what ware we going to do when the time comes. Quite simply we hadn’t allowed ourselves to think about it.
