This company used to be great and we’ve used them a lot. But I’ve used them twice recently and been beyond disappointed. The first time I ended up having to drive as they were late and the second time I booked a taxi for 7.15 that eventually turned up at 8pm. By that time we had missed our table booking as the restaurant had give it to someone else. They also tried to fob me off with ‘it’ll be 10 minutes’ about 3 times. Dreadful service now.

Absolutely appalling service. Control room lied twice that a taxi was on its way. Then, when chased for a third time, was told that if I get off the line they will try to despatch one in a few minutes. When it still didn’t arrive and phoned to complain about attitude and service, they hung up! Avoid this sham outfit at all costs!!

Needed a taxi for 7.30pm Saturday evening to get to Birmingham for 8.15pm. To give the company plenty of time in advance I pre booked this at 5pm. 2 and a half hours before it was due. I did this to give them time and so I wouldn't be late.
After 3 phone calls the taxi finally arrived to pick me up at 8pm

I wouldn't usually leave a negative review but I am absolutely appalled with the service of this firm. I had booked a taxi at 7:05 & was told it would arrive at 7:30. I had waited for a while longer after this time before calling up to be told that my taxi had been cancelled from their end which I had not been informed of (I then had to ask for it to be rebooked & in total was waiting outside for 45 minutes (HEAVILY PREGNANT many I just add)
...With absolutely no apology from the firm at all.
When asked how I make a complaint, I was told 'well, the taxi had cancelled because they got to the pick

I've been using Hot line taxi company for many years and I have always found the service to be swift, accurate and with a fair, fare, Most of their cars are large and clean and quite new. The service is reliable with friendly and trustworthy, safe drivers. Booking couldn't be simpler, call the easy to remember number and request a car straight away or for a specific time and the driver will call you when your vehicle has arrived and even give you the name of the driver, make, model and reg number of the car to ensure you don't get into the the wrong taxi. This also reassures passengers
