J A Neale work remotely providing XERO Bookkeeping Services and Payroll Services to clients both locally to Bury St Edmunds and nationwide. Our XERO bookkeeping services and payroll management services are catered to freelances, sole traders and small businesses, Limited Companies and Partnership within various sectors including construction, manufacturing and automotive.

Our practice uses XERO accounting software as our preferred option for providing our bookkeeping services to our clients. Alongside this we also incorporate the use of HubDoc and Receipt Bank which works together with XERO seamlessly aiding in our remote working with our clients. We do also use other accounting applications too, however we have found that XERO has worked well within our practice.

Our bookkeeping services and payroll services is customised to our clients needs. We want to work with you to help you set up your systems and structures to ensure our services to you are as efficient as possible. Bookkeeping and payroll is more than just data entry. Contrary to belief, it is actually more complex than people realise, until they do it themselves.
The reward is for money or a benefit in kind, e.g. the promise of a contract or future work. You are not doing the work as part of your own limited company in an arrangement where the 'employer' is a in fact a customer or client. Automatic enrolment duties don't apply when a company or individual are not considered an employer.
Bank reconciliation is the process of verifying the integrity of data between bank records and company's financial records. It begins with matching the balances in the businesses accounting records for a cash account to the corresponding information on a bank statement. It is therefore a necessary process which can sometimes become too long and monotonous.
J A Neale provides an integrated outsourced bookkeeping service to small businesses and sole traders using the leading accounting package - Xero. We work solely with this system to stay focused on providing excellent client service. Every business regardless of size, should always try and stay on top of their accounts.
If you are a contractor in the construction industry and you employ subcontractors, then you have a legal obligation to deduct tax and National Insurance from subcontractors' wages each week or month. When a subcontractor applies to be a CIS self-employed worker HMRC will issue them with a UTR (Unique Tax Reference Number).
