Services
We all work together as a team at Collier Property Management. That said we can't realistically all know everything about every property that we manage. Therefore whilst some roles are shared some people have specific areas that they deal with. Lynsey joined us in 2005 to help with the more general administration.
Collier Property Management has a selection of properties throughout the Tees Valley catering for students, professional working people and Housing Benefit funded tenants. If you cannot see too many properties that means we are once again nearly fully let and therefore would be delighted to hear from tenants with details of what type of property they are looking for and landlords with properties to let.
Based on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough, Collier Property Management offers a full set of services for residential landlords and potential landlords in the Tees Valley area. We take the worries away from the landlord, dealing with any unforeseen problems e.g. The temptation to enter the buy to let market is high in these days of low interest rates for both borrowings and savings, but it is not as simple as it may sound.
The main legislation affecting Landlords in England is the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and you should be familiar with it. By way of further information we have set out below some useful guidance for Landlords and potential Landlords. Please note that this is a summary and we therefore recommend checking the appropriate authorities' websites for the full, up to date information.
This is the service that most landlords require and once set up is based upon our being paid a percentage of rents received. Further information is shown on the Fees page. Advertising - When available for letting we will advertise the Property on Rightmove and/or OnTheMarket and/or Zoopla websites/portals or such other public property advertising websites/portals as we subscribe to and will advertise property lettings generally.

The pictures speak for themselves, for lack of better words the property was appalling. This is the state of the property first week moving in. Made many complaints about it. I was ignored many times no answer or reply for weeks on end. Kept getting promised someone would come to fix the property no one ever came while I was there. Draws were broken, light was hanging off the ceiling , mould and black stuff everywhere. No attempt to fix it while I lived there. Hassled for money but not repairs made at all, only the bare minimum and that’s putting it generously. Easily the worst student accommodation

I have been with Collier Property Management for close to 8 years and it has been a really good experience. They have been supper accommodating and supportive as lettings agent, making for a great experience while living at one of their properties as a student and later working full time. For anyone looking to rent, I would absolutely recommend them!
