Once the home of Northern Goldsmiths, our showroom has been carefully restored to celebrate its beautiful original features, including the archetypal wooden cabinets and curved glass that are emblematic of the first Northern Goldsmiths store in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. In 2013, we made the decision restore our building's treasured external clock, which has since become an iconic asset of the town centre.

Our on site jeweller can cater for all your jewellery repair needs. If your chain is broken or your ring needs altering he can usually complete this within the week. More complex work can also be carried out, with all jobs estimated before any work is undertaken. We offer a comprehensive watch repair service.

In 1946, working from premises in St John Street in London's Clerkenwell district, Asher and Rebecca Loftus established Accurist with the intention of creating a brand name of lasting value. Skagen was founded in 1989 by Henrik and Charlotte Jorst who, inspired by the small, seaside village of Skagen, Denmark, set out to create a design- driven company centered around the welcoming spirit of the city. Took a very sentimental ring for a quote to replace one small missing diamond, they said they had to send it off, when I called them for a price after a week, the price was higher than anticipated so I decided not to go through with it, they have held onto the ring for 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for it! Luckily I had its stones certified after buying so when I finally get it back I'll be taking it straight to a trustworthy jewelers to ensure they haven't switched the stones .Extremely upset with the service, lack of communication and disregard for an extremely sentimental item of jewellery.

Fantastic shop excellent helpful and friendly staff. Bought top class jewellery from here a few times excellent quality. Even helped me sort out a product from a different shop that had badly discoloured when the shop i bought it from were extremely rude and unhelpful. Appreciate very much the kindness and helpfulness of the lovely staff here would recommend this shop to everyone we know thank you

I can't recommend this jewellers enough!
From the moment you walk through the door you are treated perfectly. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are highly experienced and give you all the time you need. Unlike high street chains!! No hard sell just genuine helpfulness. I love the fact they do repairs onsite.
