Great course in brilliant condition. Greens are very good. Bellshill is a good challenge for any golfer irrespective of handicap. Course was very playable with a lot of interesting holes, changes in elevation and tree lined fairways. At the time of playing, the greens were in great condition. Running true and fast.
Hugely impressive and would be very acceptable at more high profile venues. Love this club -great people, great atmosphere and a bit of a test of golf too! Bellshill Golf Club is an ideal venue for a host of special events and celebrations, where you can always rely on friendly, efficient service and the very best value. You can relax, unwind and enjoy the immensely attractive surroundings and wonderful atmosphere. The clubhouse is also particularly suited and equipped to host a range of social events.
With the new golf season upon us I would like to take this opportunity to wish all members old and new the best luck and wishes for the forthcoming season, and could I ask all members on behalf of the club to be considerate on the course for the season ahead and play at a reasonable pace, replace your divots and repair your pitch marks to keep our course in the condition we have all grown accustomed too.
Visitors are more than welcome at our club with deals on offer to play and eat. It should be mentioned that there is a thriving competition culture at our club and Saturdays are busy but visitors can play 1 hour after the last competition tee off if you wish to do so. Before or/and after your round you will be able to eat from our excellent club menu with our catering staff offering sit down meals or simple snacks.
Q. May a Committee make a Local Rule providing relief without penalty if a player's stroke is interfered with by exposed tree roots? A. A Local Rule is authorised only if an abnormal condition exists. Generally, the existence of exposed tree roots is NOT abnormal.
However, if the exposed tree roots are encroaching on to the fairway, a Committee would be authorised to make a Local Rule providing relief under Rule 25-1 for interference from exposed tree roots when a ball lies on a closely-mown area.The Committee may restrict relief to interference for the lie of ball and the area of intended swing.

Play courses such as Pebble Beach, Gleneagles or St Andrews without moving out of Bellshill. Bookings can be viewed via Club V1 Members Hub and then selecting booking and Simulator Lounge. Please read Simulator usage guide before your booking and you or one of your party MUST have attended an induction/demo session in advance of your booking.

We played a round at Bellshill today and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lots of nice holes, the 17th in particular, a par 3 from an elevated tee, was a cracker. There are also a few dog leg holes which give you options to cut corners or play the shape of the hole.
Some greens to the next tees were a little walk, but it was all well signed.
The fairways were in good condition, the greens were excellent, with the ball running true.
Good value, will play again.

Plays well. The fairways are showing the effects of the good weather we are enjoying. Good scores to be had if you hit it straight, good bounces due to the hard fairways. Got a couple of bad bounces but getting plenty of distance.Nice course,friendly staff. Easy online booking system,but you can phone. Well worth a visit
