Showers very dated, but at least there was hot water, all needs up dating.. £23 a night was abit steep for the facilities, if you have reduced facilities like here then should you be charging the same as better nearby sites. 🤷‍♂️.. Toilet waste is right next to the path to get to the toilet block, which is not good and could easily be screened off.. All grass pitches so be careful if it's rained.. Found the owner a bit abrupt, but that could just be her manner... Long walk to Seahouses along country road's.

Love this place as does my daughter - who visits often with her 4 children. So peaceful, lovely clear night skies - hope one visit to maybe see the Northern lights. Just a stones throw from Seahouses and all it has to offer. Took the dogs, who loved it as much as us and went to a different beach with them everyday. Great position for sightseeing with a huge range of attractions within easy driving distance. The owners are lovely people. All of them (3 generations) have a can do attitude where nothing is too much trouble. The caravan storage and pitching facility is a god send. Our little piece

Very quiet and only a 5 minute drive into seahouses and bamburgh.
Toilets are old but clean and theres only one shower.
Its hot though!
Owner was laid back and never bothered you.
One tip, dont follow the sat nav from the a1, go through seahouses or from bamburgh.
The lanes are not caravan snd motorhome friendly!
Very narrow.

Great little camp site. Coping well with the Covid-19 regs. Some pitches aren't very flat and it's a bit of a trek to the nearest shop / pub, but other than that, very nice. I can't comment on the amenities as they were out of bounds, but they looked respectable enough from the outside.
