Berwick is the most Northerly town in England, famous for its Elizabethan Walls, three iconic bridges, thriving culture scene, wildlife and beaches. It's a lovely town to discover tiny independent shops and boutiques, quiet cafes and beguiling stories from history. Gunsgreen House was built back in 1753 by local smuggler John Nisbet, and of a John Adam design.

Beautifully located guest house! We could see the harbour from our windows. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was big and comfortable.Shower gel, hand soap, cream as well as hair dryer and towels were provided. Close proximity to local attractions like The Smugglers Museum, feeding seals van and outstanding coastal views. For sure we'll come back to this lovely little town.

WE were only there for two nights and would have happily stayed for two weeks. The location was perfect, near to the harbour and some great "eateries". We were looked after by the wonderful Zoe who brought us beautiful breakfasts to set us up for the day. We had the four poster bed which was really comfy. The smart tv was a really nice touch. The garden was lovely too but sadly the weather was not good enough to spend time in it. We shall return!
