It is our aim at the nursery to provide safe, happy, caring, affordable, accessible, quality childcare and play opportunities for children between 6 weeks and 11 years through the medium of English and Welsh. We provide warm relationships between our staff and children. We work closely with parents to ensure that our day nursery is extensions of a loving caring home.
8 weeks to 12 months, the babies have a separate room for a stimulating, loving, friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a large room. 2 to 11 years, the children get to use all of the rooms downstairs for many activities. If after school children use nursery they are kept separated from the other children downstairs.

Services
A warm welcome is extended to anyone wishing to join us at Cwtsh Cynnes, where we play, learn and grow together. It is our aim at the nursery to provide safe, happy, caring, affordable, accessible, quality childcare and play opportunities for children between 6 weeks and 11 years through the medium of English and Welsh.
Every child who attends Cwtsh Cynnes will be allocated a key worker. The key worker is responsible for giving you feedback orally and written on what your child has done through the day. They will also be responsible for planning and carrying out activities with your child in line with their individual development needs.

I cant believe the baby of our family has had her final week with you. Over the last 7 years all 3 of our children have attended cwtsh cynnes in penygrose and been very happy there. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for childcare in a nursery setting. Thank you to all you wonderful staff for your ongoing dedication and support in providing our children with lots of learning opportunities, care and fun in a safe environment. We will all miss coming to your door 😁

I have nothing but praise for Michelle and her fantastic team at Cwtsh Cynnes. Between my two boys, I have had a child in the meithrin every term for five years and I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they’ve done in preparing them both for their school years. The boys and all of their friends have so much love for the staff, the… facilities are fantastic and well managed and they get outside to learn and play as much as is possible in rainy Penygroes! We will miss seeing the girls after so long but are utterly grateful for all of the care and support they have given

I highly recommend Cwtsh Cynnes to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little ones! I started my son there a few months ago to get him used to a structured environment ready for him to start school… in the new year and I am so amazed at what a difference it has made. He’s really come out of his shell and is so much more confident. The staff are all so lovely and patient, my son loved it so much there that he wouldn’t want to leave when I came to pick him up, he’d find any excuse to chat about something! Still can’t believe it was his last day today! Will

I would like to thank all the dedicated staff at Cwtsh Cynnes for their hard work, enthusiasm and caring nature. My daughter Evie-Mai thoroughly enjoyed her time at this nursery from day one. She first attended at 8 months old up until starting school. She was always happy and content going to and from nursery, that spoke volumes and made each working day much easier knowing she was so happy and well cared for. Diolch! Xx

Millie has now had her settling in days in Cwtsh Cynnes and I can’t thank the girls enough. I was so worried about how she would settle but she has loved every minute, the staff have been great at making me feel at ease. They are so kind and caring. She has her first full day coming up and I have no worries at all and know she will enjoy every minute.

Would highly recommend Meithrinfa Cwtsh Cynnes. Jacson has been going since he was 7 months old and and never had any problems. The creche was the opposite direction I needed to go for work, but I'd heard such good things about the creche, and to see Jacson so happy there it was worth it..... He's gone from being so shy to being a much more confident little boy and is now ready for school. Thank you so much, he's going to miss you all.

I cant recomment this nursery enough. Celt has been here for three years and loved every second. He has learnt so much and the staff and children have made him into the confident little person that he is.

I can’t recommend Cwtsh Cynnes enough! My son was very unsettled when he first started and they couldn’t have been kinder. I never felt bad if I rang them multiple times a day to check he was ok, and I never once doubted that they were looking after him. He’s always so happy when he’s been there and what always struck me was how friendly everyone was. We’re definitely going to miss everyone at the nursery and I’m so grateful to them all. Thank you!!
