Services
Your children come first at Ysgubor Fach. Staff are chosen for their proven experience, qualifications, enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine love for the children. The staff at Ysgubor Fach take great pride in offering the best service that they can to the children - whether it is planning a challenging activity for the children, to giving a tired child a story and cuddle, we accommodate to the needs of the child.
The aim of the nursery is to provide a caring and homely atmosphere for the children in our care, whilst promoting an independence and a love of learning through providing the children with a choice and range of activities. The happiness of our children is our number one aim and if we can stimulate them educationally as well then that is an added bonus.
We have animals at the front of the nursery, the children will visit the animals supervised with staff. The children absolutely love going out to feed the ducks, pet the rabbits and see the chickens. We believe that the outside play areas are as important as the inside.
With this in mind, in addition to the large outside toys that you would expect to see, such as bikes and slides, examples of other things we have are planters for growing vegetables and flowers, a mud kitchen, a water feature for the children to explore, a sandpit.Wherever possible staff take activities outside for the children.

We welcome parents at the nursery and keep parents informed via daily reports, newsletters, parents' evenings and our website. We acknowledge how difficult it can be to leave your child and will do our utmost to assist you when your child is settling or with any queries you may have. We have an online communication system called EYLog which we used to communicate daily with parents.
From weaning upwards, our meals appeal to all appetites at Ysgubor Fach. Our food is freshly prepared daily in our kitchen. Our fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered to us weekly. At mealtimes the children will be together around the table, where the mood is relaxed and social. Healthy eating is a must for a growing child to help in their development and we will work with you to ensure that your child gets all that they need.

Absolutely love sending my daughter Harper to this nursery! Staff are super friendly and do such a good job at making my daughter feel welcomed and settled in!.. They are always so busy doing different things, love being sent pics of what my daughter gets up to throughout her day and she always looks like shes having a fun day! It's in such a great location as well and the children always seem so happy! Since my daughter has been attending this nursery her confidence has grown massively as well! Couldn't recommend enough! :)

Eleri and her team are absolutely fab with the children. John has been there for about 3 years and it's like a home from home for him. He loves going to socialise with the other children, feed the animals, do… the various activities on offer and even the extra activities that Eleri brings in :-) John and I will miss them all when he leaves for big school but will then take advantage of holiday club :-)

I can’t recommend Ysgubor Fach enough. Was worried about leaving my son to go back to work. However I didn’t need to be he loved it as you can see from his photo! He was there from 9 months old and enjoyed… every minute! Thanks to all at Ysgubor Fach for a caring and loving setting that children flourish in! Diolch i’r tim am popeth xx

Absolutely love sending my son to Ysgubor fach. He is so happy when he goes and doesn’t stop talking about all the different things he’s done and been taught through the day. Always kept updated on what he’s done and what he’s eaten. Staff are super friendly and so welcoming. Having the flexibility of getting to change days if I need to week to week is so reassuring that I won’t need to stress or worry about not being able to get him in if things change . 5/5 🌟 thank you so much!
