The Traditional South Shaolin Kungfu Club has a full time clubhouse and training facility in Granville Road, Maidstone, Kent ME14 2BJ. Over the years the Club has become very popular and well known within the local community as a club with very high standards and is approved, accredited and available for all.

KIXX Martial Arts Club is very proud and pleased to have as its martial arts Master and mentor the world-renowned Grandmaster Kim Sen Han of Chinese South Shaolin Wuzuquan fame (South Shaolin 5 Ancestors Fist Style).

Nan Shaolin Wuzuquan is a Kung Fu style originating from the Shaolin of Southern China which is now based in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The essence of Wuzuquan is referred to as Sanzhan (Three Battles) and is contained within the first form. There are a series of forms and set routines that supplement and develop the first four principles of; Absorb, Float, Sink, Release.
Wuji enables you to relax and know that your calm mind can easily overcome any obstacle trying to force you off the road to peace and tranquillity. Wuji helps establish a balance between strength and flexibility much like a tree that is able to withstand hurricane force winds by firmly rooting at its base while passively yielding its branches as the wind dictates.
The Shaolin Five Ancestors Fist style (Wuzuquan) provides the basis for learning Pushing Hands at KIXX Martial Arts Club. These classes focus on the essential requirements of balance and posture by utilising a series of exercises and partner practice drills to improve both.

Partner practice under guidance, will increases sensitivity and intuition in order to understand and apply the principal of little effort to overcome strength (To quote Master Lam, "No Physical Force").This class promotes 'thinking' with 'feeling' and covers the subject martially. It is a deceptively relaxing, calming and very personally rewarding experience.
Continuous Personal Development (CPD) allows individuals to work at their own pace in these mixed ability classes. Improving confidence and wellbeing are two of the key factors necessary to persevere with this healthy training routine. KIXX Boxing: The main goal for these classes is to promote cardio exercises for improving fitness, weight loss, strength and conditioning.
I began training in 1989 at an evening class for martial arts. I started by learning Chang Chuen Shu and have managed to reach 4th Dan level. Wu Shu was added to my early training and I was fortunate to win many competitions in the Nan Quan and Nan Dao categories along with numerous semi-contact sparring gold medals.

Not been here in years but I particularly enjoyed the San Shou lessons and pushing hands. My only regret is not sticking it out......lesson learned

I started going to Kixx 3 months ago to try and get fit at there Thursday evening circuits class. I was made to feel very welcome. I’ve since become a full member. The instructors are brilliant, dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. Would strongly recommend.

My children aged 10 and 7 attend at least twice a week, they absolutely love participating in classes. Brilliant teachers and atmosphere.
