Chequered Flag
Chequered Flag (SW) was established in 2015 b biking couple Rob and Karen as a place for people with a passion for motoring and the open road; a safe place to share memories and experiences. Chequered Flag was born out of a vision to make a destination for you whether you ride, drive or just enjoy the company of like minded people.

Initially, an auto friendly cafe, the motorcycle workshop run by Rob was added in 2016 running tuition workshops and self service facilities alongside servicing, electrical and mechanical solutions. Now incorporating Chequered Flag Motorcycles Ltd., we have expanded to offer a shop and showroom with increased workshop facilities.

Breakfast was great. But I’m sure they could use better quality sausages. And I’m sure the were the last time. Nice environment.

This is a classic bikers cafe right down to the jukebox and a vintage Douglas motorcycle mounted on the rear wall. Good food and great coffee. Well worth a visit for a full English and a mug of tea.

I have worked all over the country for many years and have had a fair few full English breakfasts. Some have been outstanding, some have been terrible, but this was the worst I have ever eaten. It took a very long time to come, which is fine if you are getting good quality food. But what was served here was anything but quality. Everything was so dry, even the beans and tomatoes couldn’t revive what was on the plate. How everything can have the exact same taste of bland is a skill in itself, but it was managed here impeccably. Everything, though apparently cooked fresh, had that dry Sahara crisp

Stopped here for lunch. Had a bacon and brie Panini with some sweet potato fries. The food was good, reasonably priced. I ate outside but regretted that decision due to the volume of the traffic going past. If you are a motoring fan then you'll enjoy this restaurant more than I did. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
