Mike Barrett that owned this site has now sold it, this site is now under new management, it currently looks like a building site, DO NOT BOOK VIA THE WEBSITE...needs updating, there is no longer a pool on site or gym, there is nothing left, this guy ran it down and left it a complete mess, hiring out caravans that don't belong to him. Can anyone that stayed in caravan 11 please let us know, trying to find out how many times our caravan was rented out in the past 2 years, thankyou.

We were meant to stay here last Easter but due to the pandemic this couldn't go ahead, we made contact with the park and they refused to give us a refund although we couldn't travel after quite a phew emails we carried over our holiday to this Easter.
Due to what is still happening we are unable to travel again due to restrictions I have tried on 3 occasions to contact the park via email and left a message on their website with no reply, the service we have had from them is appalling and their customer service overall is very poor.
Would not recommend this park to any one.

Lovely green site but sadly the pool area was not as attractive in reality as in the pictures. The poolside furniture was very grubby and the shower / toilet block needed a deep clean, very dated and cobwebby. If they put as much effort into these areas as they do the landscaping it would be a much better place

Static caravan holiday? AVOID here at all costs!
We were very much looking forward to an extended family holiday but once we walked into the caravan (number 3) were confronted by filthy walls, ceilings, surfaces, carpets and a very strong smell of wet dog. After cleaning the surfaces ourselves, borrowing their tapped up dirty vacuum plus mopping the floors and scrubbing the muddy carpet in places, we finally managed to bring ourselves to sleeping there, only due to our extended family being around in their tents. The ceilings had black mould around them, the curtains were filthy and worn out plus

The free swimming pool is a great holiday bonus for the whole family. We really love this campsite and use it for storing our caravan too, as well as for small breaks. The people that run it are very friendly and helpful and keep the toilet and shower blocks very clean. There is also a washing up area, with a fridge that you can use and a microwave. Nearby is the West Somerset Railway and some lovely walks. Only 15 minutes drive from the nearest beach and there are some lovely National Trust properties to visit in the area.

This must be the worst campsite I've ever been to
Toilet block needs pulling down and rebuilding. Pitches very small, nothing in the shop, static caravans very old and tatty, caravans to close together so no fire break (which I have reported to the authorities)
Plus the owner isn't passing on 15% vat reduction
I wouldn't even give this site 1 star

Staff friendly. May be better if swimming pool was open , understand closed with covid. People walking so close to your pitch.
Small site but booked to full capacity this weekend.
Toilet block needs modernising. Floor dirty and dont think cleaned enough with Covid. Not enough facilities for the amount of people staying this weekend.
Very tight corner to get to touring pitches, maybe remove hedge? Dustbins are full and smelly when you walk past to toilet block.
Close to Watchit, minehead and Taunton. Bus stop at the garage, 1 min walk.
