This summer it is all about getting out and about, doing the things we haven't been able to do for the last year. Reconnecting with friends and family, rediscovering the places we know and love, and reawakening our curiosity, we need to find the right space to meet, eat and shop where we can feel totally relaxed and comfortable.

Fisherton Mill Gallery and Caf, the jewel in Salisbury's crown of independent shops, provides an ideal place to escape the crowds but keep the fun. An airy and spacious converted Victorian grain mill, this iconic setting has ample room to browse, shop and eat in a unique atmosphere while the outside sunny courtyard offers an al fresco continental ambience.

Lovely food drink and setting, just a shame about the service. Was completely ignored after the plates had been cleared and had to find someone so I could pay the bill. A disappointing end to a lovely meal.

Not much choice of food and rather pricey. Staff are friendly and helpful though. Interesting selection of craft goods inside, quite a few of which would be easy to do yourself at home. Everything was rather expensive so I do wonder if much gets sold.

A pleasant cafe, both indoors and outdoors. Very good coffee, though rather unusual that the only option is whole milk (blue top), from Waitrose.
Welcoming staff.
A large shop of local pottery etc & gifts, together with workshops for crafts, good for browsing.

Nice for an afternoon visit with a lunch, if arts and crafts is of interest. Many different themes displays and makers work, in both decorative and practical veins. A touch on the expensive side for the mainstream, but cetainly a place to look for an unusual gift.
Nice food too.

Really nice use of a lovely old building, with a great range of art and craft workshops and a large sales area on the ground floor. Lovely courtyard cafe area with additional units (including a calligrapher and an old books shop) round it. Lovely place for a quick bite to eat in a creative environment

Former Mill now housing a wide variety of crafts and cafe on the ground floor together with a series of craft artists in small workshops with displays upstairs. The floor upstairs is very uneven as much of the original character of the building has been maintained. Lovely atmosphere.
