We are cafe Diwali serving Indian street food and craft beers in the heart of salisbury. All our food is sourced locally and we are using fresh ingredients to create all our dishes. We pride ourself on our way of serving and presenting the food. They hope to create a style of cooking that hasn't been seen in England previously, making Cafe Diwali a truly authentic taste of India.
The Restaurant is near to the Cathedral and has a total of 70 seats, and an added bonus of an enclosed rear garden which seats 44. I looked for over a year to start my own Restaurant and am delighted with the results. Being able to put my own mark on the place has given me a real sense of achievement.

Lovely indoor seating, great music (I don't tend to hear a lot of tamil songs when going to an Indian restaurant but this played a good mix). Food was good but could do with more chillies in the chilli cheese dosa and the addition of peppers was not to my liking personally but that might just be me. Mango lassies were 👌👌✨

Great Indian cuisine, very different from your normal Indian restaurant. More off the beaten track than the regular menu, still plenty to choose from and a good selection of beers and none alcoholic drinks. There is a good atmospheric in this cozy restaurant. Not the cheapest prices but good value for money with decent portion sizes.

This professes to be Indian Street food. It has a casual cafe ambience and in the night we visited was unusually busy. Our food took a while to come, for which we received an apology. My Kerala Pepper chicken was very tasty indeed and would recommend. My partner had the Chicken Biryani which was a safe option but turned out to be a little bland. All in all a pleasant experience and would go again.

What a great find. We went early on a Wednesday evening without booking and were very lucky to get a table. This was some of the best curry I have ever had. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone and everything is expertly cooked. Presentation was lovely and the service was good. All the staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back

Visitted whilst overnight stay in Salisbury
Not booked ut were welcomed warmly.
We had the aubergine carry and meat platter.
The curry was very delicious with good portion.
The kebab chicken thigh was delicious too, the boneless chicken pieces could have done with more spices.
Nan was perfect.
All in all very good meal, bill came to about £40 , very reasonable.
Recommend.
